Eggleston Farm, Evanston

16 × 20 inches | Plein Air | Framed

Painted on location at Eggleston Farm in Evanston, Illinois, this piece captures the abundant color and slightly wild beauty of an urban garden in summer. Loose, expressive brushwork moves through rows of vegetables and greenery toward the greenhouse and weathered buildings beyond, while the warm garden path draws you into the scene.

Painted entirely en plein air, the work reflects the changing light, color, and energy of the farm as it appeared that day.

Original painting, 16 × 20 inches. Framed and ready to hang.
